Sitges

Sitges is a seaside town in Spains Catalonia region. It has a population of about 29,000 with almost a third of this population being expats from UK, Netherlands, France and Scandinavia.

Sitges is spoiled for choice when it comes to beaches. La Playa de Sitges is the main beach and along it runs a promenade where you can stroll and take in the views. Nearby Playa Balmins is a quieter beach if you are looking to get away from the crowds on the main beach. Other beaches include Sausalito, Playa de Sant Sebastia, Playa Alberto, Playa de las Fragata, Playa de la Ribera and Playa de la Barra.

Getting there

If arriving in Spain at Barcelona, Sitges is a 40 minute drive and a 35 minute train trip away.

If arriving at Reus airport, it is a 45 minute drive or train trip from Tarragona.
