By air

By train
The nearest railway station is Granada, which is connected to Madrid, Córdoba, Seville and other Spanish cities by the high-speed AVE rail network.
By car
Hiring a car is the easiest way to reach Trévelez and explore the surrounding Alpujarras region. From Granada, take the A-44 south before joining the A-348 towards Lanjarón. Continue through Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira before following the mountain road to Trévelez. Although the route is winding, it is well maintained and offers spectacular scenery throughout the journey.

By bus
Regular bus services operate from Granada to Trévelez via Lanjarón and the Poqueira villages. While services are reliable, departures are limited, particularly outside the main tourist season, so checking timetables in advance is recommended.
